General Information
All our arrangements are fundamental and adventure-based; we do not/cannot provide luxury for such events. Basic facilities like toilets, food, and accommodation are kept minimal to match the adventure experience.

Important Terms
- 1. In case of unforeseen weather conditions, government restrictions, natural disasters, or sudden permission issues, certain activities may be cancelled. We will do our best to provide a feasible alternative or offer rescheduling. However, no monetary refund will be provided under such circumstances.
- 2. You agree to indemnify yourself against risks involved in such outdoor adventures, including trekking, water activities, height-based activities, and terrain-based risks, which vary from destination to destination.
- 3. In case of damage or loss of equipment/items belonging to SAT Travels or the third-party resort/property, the responsible participant will be liable to bear the cost of repair or replacement.
- 4. We have designated pick-up and drop-off points. Participants are requested to arrange their transport accordingly. Delays or missed pick-ups due to personal reasons will not be compensated.
- 5. No cancellation/no refund/no rescheduling on monsoon treks like Netravati, Kudremukh, Tadiandamol, Kumara Parvatha, and more.
- 6. We rely on third-party transport vendors and do not have direct control over vehicle quality, punctuality, or driver conduct. Clients with specific preferences should inquire before registration.
- 7. SAT Travels is not liable for any personal injuries, accidents, or health complications that may occur during the trek or resort activities.
- 8. Consumption of alcohol, smoking, misbehavior, or causing delay during any part of the trip will lead to immediate termination without warning, and no refund will be granted.
- 9. Littering, smoking, and consumption of alcohol are strictly banned during treks. Responsible environmental behavior is expected at all times.
- 10. For resort-based stays, check-in and check-out timings must be strictly followed. Any damage to resort property must be compensated for by the participant.
- 11. For trekking events, participants with medical conditions are advised to consult a doctor before registering. Trail routes may be changed based on forest department guidelines or weather.
- 12. For multi-day trips, please carry all essentials, including ID proofs, clothing, medication, and gear as instructed.
Safety Tips for an Enjoyable Trip
Do's
- Arrive on time at the meeting point to ensure a smooth start.
- Bring only light essentials: a small backpack with water, light snacks, sunscreen, and personal medication.
- Wear comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes suitable for trekking.
- Stay hydrated throughout the trek.
- Follow your guide's instructions for safety and to avoid hazards.
- Practice 'Leave No Trace' — carry your waste out with you.
Don'ts
- Don't overpack — keep your load light for comfort.
- Don't go off the designated path — avoid hazardous areas.
- Don't disturb wildlife — observe animals from a distance.
- Don't consume alcohol or smoke before or during the trip.
- Don't ignore physical discomfort — tell your guide if you feel unwell.
- Don't rely on phones or GPS — signal may be unreliable; stay with the group.
